In 1990 we purchased 40 acres of farmland in northwest Alabama. We soon bought two gaited horses and began our  never a dull moment life as horse owners and horse riders.  More barns and pasture have been added, not to mention more and more horses! At Clark Creek Farm we love to trail ride. We began to enjoy riding our horses not just at home, but all around this beautiful country. The more we rode, the more we appreciated a true naturally gaited horse. These horses are worth their weight in gold after a long day on the trail.  Our trail riding experiences have led us to search for, and then breed and raise, fast, smooth, naturally gaited horses. Or goal is to produce horses that display sound characteristics you would want in a trail horse. The type of horse you could trail ride for hours and then clean him up and take to that Saturday night horse show! Our focus is on Racking and Single-Footing Horses out of the Trigger bloodline from Kentucky, sometimes called the Maupin horses, and out of the famous Falcon Rowdy bloodline from Virginia. This web site is dedicated to all the wonderful trail riders we have met and to that noblest and most beautiful of God's creatures - the Gaited Horse!
